Texas Gov. Rick Perry originally endorsed Newt Gingrich as the top candidate after dropping out of the Republican presidential race.
But with Gingrich set to quit the campaign trail, Perry on Wednesday evening gave his support to the probable nominee, Mitt Romney.
"Mitt Romney has earned the Republican presidential nomination through hard work, a strong organization, and [a] disciplined message of restoring America after nearly four years of failed job-killing policies from President [Barack] Obama and his administration," Perry said in a statement provided to FOX News Channel.
"So today I join the many conservative Republicans across the nation in endorsing Mitt Romney for president and pledge to him, my constituents and the Republican Party that I will continue to work hard to help defeat President Obama.

Should I point out that each of the candidates supported by FR crashed and burned...one by one? Do you really think you are relevant?
Another thing--do you know how old it got constantly being told that we were "invited to JR's house?" If I wanted to spit on the floor, I would go home to spit! But on a conservative web site do you honestly think it is asking too much to express an opinion that you might not agree with?

Not sure your reference because this primary was scheduled for Super Tuesday and would have been earlier enough to make an impact. But it got delayed because of the court litigation which was nothing to do with the RNC.

All of the candidates did. And it had nothing to do with FR.
At the founding of our country, they were afraid that political parties would tear the country apart and small factions would control politics. That is exactly what has happened. Romney was their choice and no one had a chance. The elites have used the MSM and fear tactics to control. It works, doesn't it. And if it doesn't, there's always fraud. Do you honestly believe that voters chose McCain and Obama?

I did accidentlly get your boy Romney a vote today, though. My liberal Democrat neigbor saw the comparison chart, and decided he would vote for Romney since he doesn't like dark-skinned people and Romney holds the same same positions as Obama. That's the lesser of two evils for my neighbor.
That is Romney's base. Not conservatives.
