*SNICKER* It'll be a dual-purpose 'torpedo' boat that can both 'shoot' it's payload
and 'take a hit' in the stern.

It’s bad enough Mabus allowed a ship to be named after a libtard whose only fame is to get shot and be hospitalized. Now a fag??
To: olcurmudgeon
Oh, and it'll also be equipped for 'shrimping' and 'snorkeling'.

I saw a documentary on Harvey Milk, on TV the other night. A seemingly nice guy and not as radical as most San Francisco politicians.
However, the question is whether he deserves a ship named after him, just because he was in the Navy. I don’t think so. A nice statue of him in SF would be nice if there isn’t one already.
I’ve read too many battle reports on Kamikazee attacks on American ships during WW2 (and even wrote a column about on one, the USS Newport) to want a ship named for someone who didn’t fight like these guys who were blown off their gun stations by crashing Japanese planes.
Nothing personal, Mr. Milk, but they come first.
On a less serious note, I’ve got to add a few potential ship names to the list, if only for laughs.
USS Ramming Speed
USS Ramrod
USS Hissy Fit
USS Bend Over
USS Village People (remember, like John Kerry, they were “In the Navy”)
USS Rainbow
USS Pink Pussycat
Bon voyage!

Bob Filner is a “Red diaper baby”. He parents were Communist Party members. His father was a CPUSA organizer in Pennsylvania.
Tells you where lefty Bob is coming from.

Will the Navy anthem be changed to “In The Navy”?
