WASHINGTON (AP) -- The number of people seeking U.S. unemployment benefits remained stuck near a three-month high last week, a sign that hiring has likely slowed since winter.
The Labor Department said Thursday that weekly applications dipped 1,000 to a seasonally adjusted 388,000. It was little changed from the previous week's figure, the highest since Jan. 7.
The four-week average, a less volatile measure, rose to 381,750, also the highest in three months.

And this is before they revise the figure up based on unexpected conditions.
Next week, when the numbers are unexpectedly revised upwards, the whole world will know about it via mainstream media... and the citizenry will demand that Obama resign.

Once Barry is out, we know it will take some time to straighten out the mess no matter who succeeds him. We should all watch with interest during those early difficult times if all these expert economists and news folks continue their lame excuses on behalf of the new administration.
