And some day in the not-so-far-off future every department, agency, and office of the Federal government will do the same thing. Where the Department of Education now has a SWAT team for collecting on student loans (no, I did not make that up) how long will it be before the Surgeon General sends SWAT teams after tobacco shops? Maybe Fish & Game will use helicopter gunships for hunting down poachers?

Hey, maybe we’ll even see the BATFE go after accused child molesters and then gas them with CS gas and burn them alive and then get away with it. Oh, wait, that was 20 years ago.

Interesting comment. SWAT teams are ubiquitous, but evidently not in collecting on student loans. A search on dept on education swat team collecting student loans yields lots of hits, but looking through the first 5 pages showed only one case, from around June 8, 2011. DOE issued a statement rejecting the swat story.
