If Jim Rob had a $ for every time I have laughed with and at a Downie, he wouldn't have to have another FReepathon.
It's all in the eye of the beholder. I don't pity them! I don't see virtue in pitying them! I accept them the way they are!!!
I was visiting in a home who had a little Downie girl. She went to her big brother's room and came out with a slide rule. (It was a long time ago!) Her dad said, grinning ear to ear, "Look at that! The kid's a genius."
