Romney: My Individual Mandate Health Care Plan Is Conservative
Mitt Romney ^ | March 23, 2010 | CNN

Posted on 04/29/2012 2:16:34 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Romney boasts that his anti-liberty government forced compulsory health insurance plan is "conservative." And he says "all of my positions are conservative." That would be forced/mandated compulsory health insurance (google Reagan on compulsory health insurance for the truth), homosexuals in the military, gun control, liberal judges, TARP, bailouts, too big to fail, the government takeover of GM, stimulus spending, global warming, planned parenthood, abortion, Roe v Wade, homosexual marriage, etc, etc, etc, all of which he has supported or still does.

Conservative my foot. I guess lying is conservative too?

Romney is a total fraud!!

If conservatives do not totally raise HELL and politically tear that republican convention apart we deserve to get this wanker Romney as the republican nominee! C'mon let's open up an industrial size can of whoop ass, and cause as much (legal)contention and strife as we possibly can!!

I realize I'm probably the only one at FR advocating this raucous, in your face platform, but we HAVE to do something or we are going to end up totally deflated!

Conservatives, we can prevent Romney from getting these 1,144 of PLEDGED delegates, it is time to bring down this RINO/GOPe house!!

Some Freepers start rationalizing and come up with goody things to say about Romney in order to vote for him.

I wish I could rationalize, but I can't think of any thing other then what the alternative is.

I've gone from a profitable home business to near nothing, if me and my significant other had bought a house when we were thinking about doing so, right now we'd be royally screwed.

Luckily we elected not to buy a house but the fact remains, this is a very hard choice to make for those in similar positions....and I suspect there are many who are likewise the same.

I am going to exit this thread lest I be accused of supporting a lesser of two evils.

This election is about survival.

“Now those who want to attack me for simply speaking the truth or want to accuse me of wanting the Marxist reelected, have at it. Then leave. Go join your favorite RINO anti-freeper site.”

Thank You for stating the truth on who MR is.

I will not be a hypocrite to my conviction and vote for Mittens.

As you always say FUMR.

No, we can't. There are no candidates left in the race to stop Romney. Newt has dropped out and will be endorsing Willard this week.

REBELLION IS TOO DAMN HARD, AND IT’S SCARY.

The Kool Aid drinkers are skeered out of their bejeebies and headed for the Romney train. Falling like flies they’ve been bet on again. As the useful idiots they were slated to be.

My take is banked on the chances that socialist Romney will get more socialism passed by a Republican Congress and Senate than anyone ever dreamed of right now. Whereas if Obamamao in a second term came up with the same crap, or worse, he would hit a brick wall.

The GOP-E are in the tank with their “annointed one” — our first Republian Socialist nominee ever— and intend to see him suceed. His wife already has to rearrange every word he utters, because he’s such an empty suit and doesn’t have a clue who he is, himself. GAD.

The two parties are now melled together and kidding ourselves is just nursing the Kool Aid for the masses.

Catholics need to wake up too. This is the guy who seeded the same grief and intimidation to Catholic run hospitals in MA that we see today nationally sticking it to them on abortion “services”.

His and ours.

We need to get ourselves to precinct meetings and work on the state party plank in our respective states, AND, most of all get our fannies elected as delegates to county, state and national conventions!

Good grief, if Ron Paul can do it, a few FREEPERS can rock it to the delegate chair.

This is where ALL the action takes place. The last of democracy is still available for the grassroots at your local school house, or wherever, on election night.

Lets, Cut. The. Mustard.

Until Newt actually drops out and endorses this DORK Romney we still have a certain way we can go. If Newt does drop out then conservatives have to make a choice whether or not they will stick to principle.

Paging demented “Deb”.

You didn't page Deb. You ping a member when you talk about the member.

BTW. It's been my experience here, that FReepers are some of the smartest folks on the whole of the Internet, and also prayerful, so FReepers in good standing, who might end up voting against the Marxist currently holding the presidency, will do so, after careful thought and a whole lot of prayer.

That won't be me, however. I can't and won't vote for the evil Romney and my decision was made long before this primary ever started.

I might add, that nothing is set in cement. I remain praying for Divine Intervention. The convention is still months away. Anything can happen in between.

A certain way to go? You mean till this coming Wednesday when Newt is planning on endorsing Romney.

If Newt does drop

That already happened unofficially. He is just going through the official formalities of suspending his campaign and endorsing Willard on Wednesday. Folks gotta let the Newt thing go. He's done.

People really do need to look at the history leading up to the revolution.

The colonists spent decades trying to negotiate and deal with the British who they didn’t see as enemies till the war came. Men like Ben Franklin were expressing their loyalty to Britain right up till the the war broke out. Deals were repeatedly made and broken and the Boston Massacre finally showed the colonists where they stood.

Mitt Romney, the Young guns support of Dick Lugar and other issues might just be our Boston Massacre moment.
