Think of an invention. Any invention. Who do you think invented it?
You mean like the circular saw, liquid paper (White-Out), COBOL, square-bottomed paper bags (well, the machine that produced them). zig-zag sewing machine, dishwasher, windshield washer, kevlar and a new broad spectrum navigation system, not to mention all kinds of things in the medical field? All invented by women, the nav system by actress Hedy Lamar.
Interesting. A system to navigate a spectrum of broads. Hmmmm... I want one!
Actually, Lamar worked with a male co-inventor for her patent of frequency hopping, and it likely originated with her first husband who was Austrian arm manufacturer before WW2.
"That's Hedley!"
