Hmmm. Apparently not a rhetorical question.

Think of an invention. Any invention. Who do you think invented it?

You mean like the circular saw, liquid paper (White-Out), COBOL, square-bottomed paper bags (well, the machine that produced them). zig-zag sewing machine, dishwasher, windshield washer, kevlar and a new broad spectrum navigation system, not to mention all kinds of things in the medical field? All invented by women, the nav system by actress Hedy Lamar.

Actually, Lamar worked with a male co-inventor for her patent of frequency hopping, and it likely originated with her first husband who was Austrian arm manufacturer before WW2.
