Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney finds himself battling attacks from not one but two Democratic presidents today, after former President Bill Clinton compared presumptive Republican nominee's platform to a juiced-up version of President George W. Bush's policies.
The comments, made last night during Clinton's first joint fundraising appearance with Barack Obama, represent the harshest iteration yet of the Obama campaign's new "Romney is out-of-touch" attack line.
Here are excerpts of Clinton's remarks, per the White House transcript:
...When you become President, your job is to explain where we are, say where you think we should go, have a strategy to get there, and execute it. By that standard, Barack Obama deserves to be reelected President of the United States. And I'm going to tell you the only reason we're even meeting here. I mean, this is crazy — he's got an opponent who basically wants to do what they did before, on steroids — which will get you the same consequences you got before, on steroids....

Actually, I think he’ll be just another Republican big-government “conservative”, like Bush.
But if the article’s title is true, then Zero’s economic policies would Bush’s on steroids, meth and crack, shot out of a rail-gun.

If by that he means wild, out of control spending that seems frugal only by comparison to Obama’s insane spending binge then yes, Clinton is right.
Willard has given them the green light to open up their campaign against him. So far, polls reflect none of that. Willard’s negatives will be driven up higher as he is portrayed as an extremist, against women, against blacks (mormonism’s history), the elite of greedy wall street 1%ers, etc. Surrogates, like Clinton and operatives, will be making these attacks every day from now on. Get used to it.
