BS. He didn’t do anything close to rolling out the red carpet for ANYONE. He was very tough on illegals when he was Governor, but he recognized that the party had to grow in order to block the Left and hispanics should be a HUGE voting block for Republicans since they are Christian and natural conservatives. Finding a way to expand the party by adding more conservative voters makes the whole thing a hard road with the illegal problem. Reagan understood and so did Bush.
