The term "climate change denier" is obviously objectionable because of the word "denier." That word is carried over from the phrase "Holocaust denial" and is meant to smear global warming skeptics by associating us with the vicious motives of those who airbrush the crimes of the Nazis.

Too bad liberals can't use all that 'cuteness' to some creative purpose.

The alarmists who warn about recent man-made global warming are the ones who deny the reality of climate change. They are, in fact, advocates of climate stasis. They assume that the "normal" climate is basically what it was in 1970—not coincidentally, about the time of the first "Earth Day"—and any recent variation from that norm must require some extraordinary explanation.

The issue is and has never ever been “Climate Change”. The issue in dispute is and always has been MAN-MADE GLOBAL WARMING.

Let’s use that term and not not “climate change”.

They did it with abortion and birth control.

I recently read an article where we have a new study showing man made localized climate warming.

It was a study done on the local area effects of wind farms done around a large Texas Wind Farm and showed that Wind Farms raise temperatures, with related impact, where they are built.

Climate change is so severe here in SE MI that I turned my furnace off today and just a couple months ago I was required to use it! At this rate of warming I will need to cool down my living environment.

We MUST increase taxes to stop this tragedy!

Great points. I am currently reading a book called "Sync" by Steven Strogatz, a leading author on chaos theory. It is amazing how much chaos theory was advanced by cross-pollination of various disciplines such as quantum physics, meterology, biology, engineering, and mathematics. To dismiss experts in other field that understand the underlying physics and mathematics and to only rely on the core group leads to inbreeding and monolithic thinking.

Their premise for action is that we control the warming AND the warming will devastate our world.
