Actually I have an interesting, and related question for readers of this thread:

1) Did you vote for Perot in 1992? (I'm sure a lot of current FReepers did)

2) If so, do you regret doing so?

I didn’t vote that election. I thought Perot dropped out of the race before the election.

No. I "held my nose" and voted for Bush. Guess what, sparky? All the Republican Party establishment knows is that I voted for Bush. They don't know or care about the "nose holding" rhetoric. All they care about is us peons voting for whatever turd they serve up.

You didn't direct that question to me, but I'll answer anyway. Yes, I do regret voting for Bush. The second time ... the first time (1988) I believed in good faith that he had learned to govern as a conservative. I was wrong. In 1992, I should have had the guts to vote with my middle finger.

I was trying to send a message to the RNC elite that it’s presidential candidate was NOT adequate; to teach them a lesson, so to speak.

Did they LEARN anything?

Evidently not.
