The house could stop the spending tomorrow.

Lest we forget, many Republicans in the House and Senate were there during the George W. Bush administration when spending went out of control and the power, size, and intrusiveness of the government expanded rapidly. They didn't find it politically expedient to act like fiscal Conservatives then, no reason to think they will now.

Did you miss that we only have the House? Dingy Harry won’t even let the bills go through the senate. It’s easy to talk when you are on the outside
