Ya know what, maybe this is because I was bullied as a kid in the 1970's and then was told to stand up for myself. If I was President, I'd fight for this guy, no matter how much we owe to Red China. I wouldn't care because it is the right thing to do. There will be a time to tell them to FOAD, for whatever reason. I'd say, "sorry, we're flat broke, declaring bankruptcy" and then reorganizing. I'd let them know our military is on high alert if they try something stupid, if they don't that's good, but I'd be ready if I had to stand up to them. I'd have the Minutemen II's and III's ready to go as with our SLBM's and B-52's but I'd say, "if you don't try anything, we won't." Come to think of it, I would not want to be President, I'd probably flip them The Bird, say something obscene and start WWIII but we can't kow-tow to them either. I just think back to me being bullied and shoved around as well as when you see animals backed into a corner with nothing to lose, they fight the hardest. Even a rabbit or a day old baby chick, when cornered will fight and despite them looking cute, they can be nasty. Still if I had to call the shots, I'd fight for what is right, money be damned.
