In my opinion, the girls, everything, look as if they started from his current place in life and went backwards to construct the scenarios. Quotes from lovers, friends, everything sounds like invention to make readers believe a fantasy and not a very interesting one. Who even has passion to talk about a “composite” lover? That one fact stinks to high heaven. I would more likely believe the comments were written by a gay man.
