And who could forget James Gangs Funk #49 or # 48?
Or Dave Grisman’s Swing #51 or Opus #57?

OK, so there’s no numbers in the title, but there was only ONE Freddie Mercury

Count Basie: "One O'Clock Jump"

This song was Basie's theme, and for some time it didn't have a title. One night before going on the air, Basie and his band were just jamming when the engineer, who had been lost in the music, looked at the clock and panicked. He yelled, "It's one o'clock. Jump!" That's how it got its name.

"Eight Days a Week" by the Beatles must have been inspired by the proposal, around the time the song came out, for an eight-day week that would allow for a three-day weekend. It was proposed that Maury Wills Day be inserted between Friday and Saturday.

Re 2525: After being a one-hit (number) wonder Denny Zager became a luthier. I own a Zager guitar. It’s a sweet instrument - easy to play with a rich and warm sound.
