Pretty timely, TS....the guys in the White House should read it.
Come on over, Sand, and pick a tune.
Farmer girl reporting in.
In the past few days have planted 40 Broccoli, 40 Cabbage, 80 kale.
12 cucumber, untold number of parsley, sage, basil and fennel. Onion’s galore. 150 square feet of sweet corn, 5(a5 inch centers )50 square feet of Vermont Cranberry beans, (6 inch centers )50 square feet of green bush beans (6 inch centers), 50 square feet of barley.
I’ve dug ditches, strung fence and hung doors.. I’m grateful to go back to work tomorrow so that I can rest.
I am seeing them in concert Friday evening!
Evening Kathy, Hugs.
Saturday night, we had a hail storm.. Recovering my bedding plants I got clubbed in the shoulder with golf ball sized hail in the shoulder.. left an ugly bruise about the size of a baseball.
Solly knocked me on my fanny.. She was wanting to play leader of the pack with the neighbor’s dogs. She also left quite the raised rope burn in my fingers as she sliced her lead through my fingers a 80 mph.
Big ole bruise inside my left ankle from the fall.. Also a scraped and bloody toe.
Going back to work will be a cake walk, no matter how many copper head bites.
Had to have Mr. Taz dig a tick off my back...Jeepers, I shudder at the thought.
Oh my gosh, Taz...((HUGS))...what an adventure you’ve had. Glad you are still standing, sort of. Besides damage to you, any other damage to house and home and cars?
Do your rope-burned fingers hurt to type?
AND A TICK????? Where did you manage to get that?
Work should be a safe place. d:o)
Thanks, AZ, for the red, white, and blue tribute.
How was your commute? No critters to hinder your way home? *HUGS*
True country girl! Ticks aren’t all that hard to come by when you’re out in the weeds. Good thing you had Mr. Taz check you out - ticks can be nasty little buggers.

One of my favorites!
Side of the house at Runamuck, facing south west got banged all to hell.
Our new roof held up though.
When we got in tonight we de-oaked the drive from all the leaves and clusters the hail banged out of the neighbor’s tree.
I souce myself with sun screen and deep woods’s off before I go out. .This one made it’s way past my defenses.

Thanks. Posting from cellphone or I'd post URLs. :-)
Evening Jinxy, Hugs.
We have been a true team the past few days.
Soil up there is as rocky as a graveled drive way.. We had 1 single axle dump truck of compost and top soil delivered.
We shoveled like convicts leveling it.
Tazman tilled it up and then we both shoveled out the lanes to make raised beds...5 foot x 45 foot x 3 beds.
Mucho work done the past few days.
Tick transgression so far looks fine.
Night KATHY, I’ bugging out.
Well deserved hot soapy shower in my future.
I need a jakuzi with vents that I Can aim at my back.
Night Everyone.
Glad most everything is ok...good night and rest well. ((HUGS))
I remember having to get them off the dog when we lived in Bakersfield...they were nasty!! And the heads came off. YUCK!
