There is something conspiratorial and malicious about an organized effort to restrain a private individual right to engage in commerce. Using intimidation and interfering with one’s private business relationships appears not only petty, but perhaps a basis for a lawsuit that would reveal these roaches for what they are..enemies of not only free markets, but free expression as well.

I am sure Limbaugh has access to the best legal advice around and wonder if they have ever considered a major and well-publicized lawsuit against Media Matter, NOW and others that conspire to destroy an individual citizen personally and professionally.

I know it is not libel....but it is something. Any lawyers care to chime in?

“Start listening to Rush Limbaugh.” That was the unexpected message representatives from Media Matters

Rush will counter with "over a million new listeners thanks to Media Matters. Advertisement revenue skyrocketing..."

I also bear in mind that Rush has a few ex-wives, so I separate his political/fiscal consevatism from his social conservatism.

Rush is "all career". He is the show. Considering how much his service to our country consumes him, yes, there has been some unfortunate sacrifice in his private life.

A lot of people are consumed by their careers; I don’t hold it against Rush, I just bear that in mind. “Conservative” means a lot of things.

I think he has a great mind is one of the good guys.

Liberals abhor free speech, except to defend flag burners, pornographers, blasphemers, race pimps, and America-hating rants. I guess that covers several of their faithful voting blocs.

(Hannity in particular is easily stumped by any live caller - he needs a teleprompter as well as someone to read it to him)

I too used to think of Hannity as a lightweight but, he is really doing his homework lately. He can get in there and throw the facts around with the best of them and is doing so now.

I occasionally hear him on the radio on my way home, and it is clear that he can’t handle a live show; it is not just a lack of knowledge, but also the fact that he literally can’t think as quickly as Rush.

I’ve made the point a million times. Hannity is best when you give him a simple concept and just let him hammer it over and over and over. He’s not a deep thinker, but he certainly knows hows to hammer a story - i.e. Rev. Wright.

The right needs all kinds and Hannity has his place. I just click him off every time I hear him ask “who’s gonna be the VP pick? I like Rubio” BORING!

They may succeed in removing themselves from the airwaves pretty much like Air America.

Among the Obama promoting businesses which have forfeited my patronage to name a few are:

CVS Caremark
Pepsico
General Electric
Time-Life
Hewlett-Packard
National Geographic

Kinda reminds me of various folks over the years who have studied the Bible in order to refute Christianity. Lew Wallace, Civil War era Union general and author of Ben Hur is one who comes to mind. He ended up becoming a Christian, IIRC.

Advice to Media Matters: if you want to keep your folks propagating lies, don’t ever point them to the truth. They may hear and believe. Next thing you know, they might just try reading the Bible to see if everything they’ve been taught by the MSM & NEA about it are also a pack of lies.

Truth & Freedom are dangerous to Liberals/Progressives!

“It is the secret of faith, which is the burden of our preaching, and it says, in effect, “If you openly admit by your own mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord, and if you believe in your own heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” For it is believing in the heart that makes a man righteous before God, and it is stating his belief by his own mouth that confirms his salvation. And the scripture says: ‘Whoever believes on him will not be put to shame’.

And that “whoever” means anyone, without distinction between Jew or Greek. For all have the same Lord, whose boundless resources are available to all who turn to him in faith. For: ‘Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved’.
Can we offer the excuse of ignorance on Israel’s behalf?

Now how can they call on one in whom they have never believed? How can they believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how can they hear unless someone proclaims him? And who will go to tell them unless he is sent? As the scripture puts it: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!’” Romans 10:8b-15, J.B Phillips translation

Well good luck with that.

We’ll see how effective that is once the Mothers Day sales figures for Sherries Berries and ProFlowers.com come in for their post-Rush era.

They should start listening, and calling. Rush has always put dissenters to the top of the line, if they can impress Snerdley with the ability to make a coherent argument. It makes for more interesting radio, and he gets the chance to demolish them.

Well, my Rush days go back prior to Dan’s bake sale....For MSM, Fox may be as good as we can get, but I can not stomach watching it, as I am now receiving it for the first time in seven+ years.

I remember Rush from before he went to NY. As for Fox, it's amusing that many Freepers consider it too liberal, or at least, establishment Republican, while Dems and other leftists think it's far right.

Now that we discover FoxNews was the bane of bin Laden their viewership should accelerate nicely...while OBL's "favs" continue to sink into the abyss.

Actually don't watch FoxNews or any news for that matter...I should take a look in now!

Typical leftist reaction: try to shut down opposing views. These dopes don’t realize what petty fascists they are. When Olberbaby was spewing his leftist offal, no conservative tried to organize a boycott to get him off the air. They knew he was going to commit professional suicide anyway. I certainly didn’t like Olberbaby. But I didn’t try to force him off the air. Leftists are different. NOW is a collection of leftists...not liberals. True liberals would try to counter Limbaugh with their own propaganda. Leftists i.e. fascists try to stop you from speaking period.

These morons are really clueless . . . totally clueless. Remember the manufactured nonsense they tried with Sandra (”Slut”) Fluke and advertiser intimidation? Ask the former advertisers how well their PC stupidity helped the bottom line. Anyone?
