Former GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum has made an endorsement - but it's not the one Mitt Romney may be waiting for. The former senator from Pennsylvania tweeted his support Friday for State Treasurer Richard Mourdock, who is challenging the seat's long-time holder, Sen. Dick Lugar.

It certainly beats supporting Specter, and it will help smarmy up the conservatives in the event he wriggles himself a spot on the ticket and bound to do his duty to attract them. The top of the ticket certainly repels.

I dunno, Romney wants what Romney wants, and it really probably is not Santorum, but Daniels or Christy, who have actually done something.

Kudos to Rick Santorum!

Once again, you are showing yourself to be a stellar, stand up guy...and supporting a true Conservative in a very close race is the best!

No doubt Sarahs timing was perfect. 4 hours after Sarah endorsed, the Super-Pac supporting Lugar quit on Lugar.

Dick the Lugar will lose his primary and then run for the Senate as an independent.

Power is more important than principle.

And Lugar has many staff that need to keep those government checks coming in.

“..but Daniels or Christy..”

Conservatives don’t like Daniels or Christy.

“When Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels (R) called on conservatives to declare a “truce” on social issues and “agree to disagree,” he clearly “shot himself in the foot” and ended his presidential prospects.”

And among other things, Christy picks radical-leaning Muslim judge to the court.
