WASHINGTON (AP) Mitt Romney will need independent voters in November, but he isn't abandoning his "severely conservative" record.

Romney is the spandex candidate, stretching himself thin. It will be fun watching him be all things to all people.
Only thing to do is vote for Obama, right?
My assumption is that anything published by Yahoo/AP is lies intended to advance the collectivist cause.
Is this article an exception?
Doesn’t matter. Romney isn’t going to win anyway.
If you want to, go ahead. To hear it around here, it won’t make any difference. When the time comes, I will vote for Romney, no matter how stretched he is across the political spectrum. He will be infinitely better than Obama. But that doesn’t mean I will have to pretend Romney is something other than what he is, and “spandex candidate” suits him well.
One way or another, Yahoo makes ya stupid.
Better than the communist in chief Obama.
Agreed but (from the article) ... his “severely conservative” record ... struck me as hysterical.
You’ll have to decide that for yourself. Romney is what he is, and everyone can see it. The problem is that no one knows for certain what he is, not even Romney. The best he will get from me is a vote, and that will be a vote against Obama. If that isn’t enough to energize the Romney voters, we are screwed. Yes Romney will be better for jobs and the economy, and he will be better for energy production. Most of all he isn’t an anti American ideologue, but he is still a progressive who will do his damage. It’s a trade that is less than perfect, but better than no trade at all.
You post this over and over again, and sound utterly foolish every single time you do.
You do not know 6 months out who is going to win the 2012 election. Period. The economy is in fairly bad shape, and who knows what events between now and November could significantly affect the outcome.
I agree Obama has the advantage and has a good shot at re-election. I'd say the dog eater has 60% - 70% odds at this moment of getting a 2nd term. But Romney absolutely could win - and a 30%-40% chance of knocking off a sitting President is pretty good. He starts out this contest close to even with Obama in most polls, and that isn't bad at all coming out of a contentious primary and facing an incumbent the media and entertainment establishment have gone all in on.
That's what I thought, you're just bitter and angry that the vast majority of conservatives are going to vote for Romney. It makes you mad, so you try to convince them Willard can't win to depress turnout or get folks to waste their votes on some 3rd party or write-in. Sorry man, it's not going to work. Conservative leaders are all going to support Romney and conservative voters are going to pay far more attention to folks like Rush, Hannity, Levin, Beck, Palin, Newt, Bachmann, etc, than anything you have to say on the issue.
