In the end, it was the prospect of a nap that made 9/11 terror mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed sing like a canary.
Even with waterboarding, he was counting on his fingers, because he knew we would stop at 10, so he wasnt terribly intimidated by that, ex-CIA official José Rodriguez Jr., told The Post.
It was the sleep deprivation that finally got him. Still, the man described as the Hannibal Lecter of al Qaeda wasnt easy to crack.
It took two weeks to break him after he was nabbed in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, in 2003 and quickly squirreled away to a secret CIA prison called a black site.

Thank God the GOP was able to stop Obama and Holder from giving this monster a forum in a NYC trial. Burn in Hell, KSM.

Imagine how many nights of sleep the families of 9-11 have lost
Imagine how many nights of sleep the families of the victims of Bojinka (10 airliners simultaneously exploded in flight) would have lost, had KSM continued plotting and managed to pull it off

I hope they kept him awake by blasting Jewish religious songs and God Bless America into his ears everytime he nodded off.

I hope to live long enough to see the day when Eric Holder is waterboarded and deprived of sleep for 180 hours until he coughs up the truth about Fast & Furious, i.e. "what did he know, and when did he know it, and WHO put him up to it?"

Was it the comfy chair that broke him? Just think KSM, how would you like to sit in the comfy chair?

Yes, I want Holder on trial in Mexico and kept in their prisons, not some country club US jail.

There was a picture of a couple of our guys with KSM as he was captured. One of them is a distant relative. You can see his name, Kelly, on his uniform. I can’t find it anywhere online.

Eight days of sleep deprivation. Looks like the Israeli experience of getting info with similar methods isn’t unique. I wonder if the CIA used the temperature extreme torture, where they stick the suspect in an air-conditioned room for which he is under-dressed and turn the thermostat way down.

7 and a half days? I have weeks when I can’t sleep, but that’s just my insomnia. By the 7th day I start to get little hallucinations at the edges of my vision. I wonder how reliable the info they got is? And at that point, did he even realize he was talking?
