Can we really count on that? Sotomayor might have been one thing, but I think Kagan was really a hack. Nobody stopped her, they’ve stopped some of his nominees, or made it clear they would be stopped.
And who knows, after Obama’s “last election” maybe the Republicans in the Senate would develop stronger spines, but who knows?

What you say is also true, but with no limits placed on moving the Party to the Left, the RINO Establishment, under a Romney presidency, will be freed up to indulge their own socialist traits, and strengthen their clear agenda to move the Republican Party to the left. They will vote FOR everything he shovels out, where as, Obama could offer up the same thing (and has), they would kill it dead.
I am thinking that if the RINO’s are so desperate to secure their own power and survival, that in a second term of Obamao, they would be forced to step back and fight tooth and nail everything Obama offered up.
Romney is a socialist with a proclivity toward the VERY same legislation Obama has moved forward that we call Marxist.
I have no answers, first of all, for myself, but continue to believe there is an “out” somewhere. I will have to vote “other” for the presidency, and trust God mightily for the rest, and bear the consequences.

There are others of lesser evil named by GOP presidents but no one is expecting Robamney to name actual conservatives if they are familiar with Robamney's utterly spineless record and non-stop excuse-making. The GOP-E threw this election away by funding Robamney's totally negative carpetbombing of every decent candidate. Time to get ready for 2016 when there may again be a meaningful POTUS election unlike 2012. Let Obozo use taxation to confiscate the ill-gotten warchests of the Romney backing Wall Street gang. Maybe 2016 can be fought as a ground war in which case the GOP-E is finished. Meanwhile, utterly destroy Lugar in Indiana on Tuesday, nominate Cruz in Texas over Dewhurst and make whatever paltry gains are still available in spite of Robamney's probable nomination, destroy Robamney, brace for the final four years pf Obozo, tell the GOP Senators (even the GOP-E) that ANY aid and comfort to Obozo will be treated as the treason that it is, wall to wall total RESISTANCE and bloodbath primaries followed by bloodbath elections every two years. No quarter! RULE OR RUIN!
As to BOTH Obozo and the GOP-E, follow the alleged and possibly apocryphal example of Scipio Aemilianus Africanus in the Third Punic War: Burn their houses. Salt their fields. Leave not a stone lying upon a stone until future generations will not know where it was that Carthage once existed. That is what is deserved for the persecution of the Roman Catholic (and, by necessary implication, each and every other pro-life and pro-family religion) Church under both Robamneycare and Obozocare, and the common traits of both candidates: gun grabbers, babykillers, enemies of family friendly policies, despisers of the religions of most Americans, nominators of leftist menaces to courts, anti-military (if you doubt this about Romney, name one male in his line who has EVER served in the military of this country), suckups to leftist intellectuals and poseurs, gilt-edged phonies, global "climate change" delusionaries; cap and trade enthusiasts, fashionable trendies; enemies of the Declaration of Independence and of the Constitution, etc.
