President Barack Obama's re-election campaign on Monday denounced Mitt Romney's super-PAC allies as "contract killers" as it unveiled a $25 million advertising blitz to shore up the Democrat's re-election prospects in key battleground states.
"We're not letting our foot off the pedal," campaign manager Jim Messina told reporters on a conference call. The first ad focuses on the economy.
"We're also going to be prepared, and I want to be clear, to respond to the attacks that we expect to continue from, not just from the Romney campaign, but from, you know, the Karl (Rove) and Koch brothers contract killers over there in super PAC land, who are going to continue to pound away on behalf of Governor Romney,"
"We will respond vigorously, we will treat every ad that comes from those entities as an ad from Governor Romney and we will compare our record and our vision with his and we'll let the American people decide," he added.

romney had better run a bare knuckles campaign against the “won” to make up for the savaging he gave conservatives in the primaries. it’s about the only thing that’ll let me vote for him without gagging
One of the Koch brothers just donated $35 million to the Smithsonian. Didn’t hear much about that, just the usual stuff about Warren Buffett getting a medal for not paying $1 billion in taxes.
“Contract Killers!?!” So much for Obama and his ghoulish stooges with their post-Gabby Giffords civility blather.
Hypocrite, thy name is liberal.

Whenever you rob Peter, to pay Paul; you can be assured of Peter’s vote.
Given the record numbers of people receiving Welfare, SSI benefits and unemployment - there is a HUGE population with a vested interest in maintaining the status quo, if not expanding the benefits. These people tend to turn up in significant numbers to vote, often accompanied with bribes, T-shirts, cigarettes, free bus rides and promises of even more benefits from the USA.
Meanwhile, we have lots of people bitching and whining; and if history is any indicator - less than 25% of these people will bother to vote.
When was the last time any Republican, RINO or otherwise, ran a bare knuckles campaign? I wish he would, but I am pretty sure he won't.
There is not such thing as “contract killers” with liberals, only anything that could pass for an excuse for them to conduct a campaign however they really wanted to.
Rules, we don’t need no stinkin’ rules.
I think you meant to say that you’ll get Paul’s vote!!!!
Unless, of course, Peter is a flaming lib. Then you get his vote anyway.
