I don't see how any conservative can be reconciled with the RNC after seeing how TEA party candidates were treated in 2010.

Message to Rove: you got him nominated - now you get him elected.

I won’t bother now to get into a detailed discussion of the evidence as to whether Obama or Romney would be worse for the country. I’m sure that will be discussed time after time between now and the election. I’ll continue to read — or at least skim through — much of what Republicans, Democrats, and independents argue in opposition to voting for Romney (primarily to find weaknesses in their arguments, I admit).

I’ll consider the points that are made, though, and be willing to recognize strengths in the arguments of others if I come across them. So far, though, I’m not anywhere close to being convinced. If anything, I hope I’ll be able to convince others to come over to my way of thinking.

You are to the GOP what blacks are to the DNC - plantation slaves.

To somehow argue that the process over the last several months has been unfair or unrepresentative of the will of the Republican electorate is absurd.

Try telling that to us Texans, or Californians even, that have not had a chance to vote, PERIOD! By the time it comes for us to try to have a say, it is over!

Your statement is what is absurd sir.

They still won’t get it - did they “get it” when McLame lost? No.

Sure they get it. A Sarah or Newt is a far more greater threat to the GOP-e piece of the 'power pie' than anyone across the aisle. Look at what damage Gov. Palin and Pres. Reagan did to the GOP-e when they were in office. The GOP-e is scared to death of conservatives

The primary is 'coordinated' solely to keep that from happening again.

That's just how it is.

To me, for conservatives, job #1 is the total destruction of the GOP-e. Until and unless that happens, we have no chance of getting this country back to it's God-fearing roots.

The greedy bastards HAVE. GOT. TO. GO!!!

Please pray for our nation, it's future leaders and our troops.

The GOP is not just out of gas.....they actively CAMPAIGN against Conservatives with the DNC/MSM machine, they strangle our young pols in their cribs (Palin), and civility is something establishment Republicans only extend to their leftist friends.

Conservatives who want to obtain and maintain political power are well advised to do so by taking over the Republican Party and to strictly eschew flirting with third party.

You're right. The only path to victory involves taking control of the Republican Party, and a slow-but-steady purge of the RINOs and country-clubbers.

================To somehow argue that the process over the last several months has been unfair or unrepresentative of the will of the Republican electorate is absurd.=============

You're wrong. Flat wrong. When people talk about the GOP-E, it's typically not because of denial into the electoral process itself.

The GOP-(E)stablishment have long employed shady tactics and techniques of sociological manipulation to try to manipulate things in favor of the candidate who will do the least to shrink government. There's a lot of conservatives around here who can't stand Rove for that very reason. But here are some specifics:

GOP Empire's Plan to Crush Tea Party Rebels

Note how the GOP-E always runs to the liberal media to run it's big fat mouth. That article names names, which is a good thing. Here's another:

GOP elite holds off the tea partiers

=========Many Republicans here said that tea-party activists now understand that things will run more smoothly if those with experience are in charge rather than those who put a premium on ideology over process.============

This is the arrogance with which the GOP-(E)stablishment looks at you and I. Here's one more:

Mark Levin: The Senate GOP establishment is trying to disenfranchise conservatives

Again, note how the GOP-E runs to the liberal media to run it's smears. Levin lays this out brilliantly.

A5. It's feasible through primaries and party leadership from the ground up. That's how Marco Rubio took out Charlie Crist. Counties and Districts.

The big thing will be the 2014 state elections. We will have 36 out of 50 governorships up for grabs, along with state legislatures. We need to cultivate more conservative Republican governors, to potentially run for President down the road.

In 2013, NYC will have a mayoral election, and maybe we can get rid of that idiot Bloomberg. Put a Democrat in charge, he can take the blame for the collapse.

I disagree with you about why the conservatives failed in the primaries. At least part of the problem is that Fox News really really pushed Romney and dissed the others. Many older people suck the Fox News channel down hours a day, and assume that they were speaking from the right. My own parents became convinced that Romney was conservative, or at least right of center. They got that from Fox. People came away from that coverage thinking that Romney was some economic genius and had always been a Conservative.

Also, Romney’s money from before the primary season did not hurt him.

The GOP elite and the Republican media attacks Palin, Santorum, Bachmann, West, DeMint, Gingrich, Cain and anybody else who is tea party or is a conservative politician.

So that should be enough to realize they are hostile to the base and as such what they want is not what we want. They want anti-Palin/ anti-Reagan/ anti-tea party/ pro-establishment statist politicians. And that means they go further and further to the left of conservatives. Should be enough to anger you.
