Reading this is just too depressing. I wish I could understand God’s infinite plan just a little bit to understand how this occurs, see how it exactly plays out, and what judgement and justice will ultimately come from it.

Agreed, I wonder what Jeremiah felt like in his day. Who in the world would encourage a 14 year old girl to be responsible for the death of her own child?

You see all these innocent lives with no voice to cry out as they are murdered. I wonder if they will be with the souls under the alter in revelation crying out for justice.

Have faith that God’s plan is far, far better than anything we can devise. I’m often disappointed in this world, especially when I see people openly parade their sins. At one time, evildoers at least had the sense to do their deeds in the dark, but now they celebrate sin in the light of day.

God promises us He will set things aright. He’s patient and merciful in ways we cannot imagine, and many mistake His patience and mercy for cold indifference. It was prophesied that people will say the world is unchanging and believe Christ isn’t returning. That’s part of the plan, too.

Have faith.
