“Yes, and they are either stored at a club or at home, unloaded and/or disassembled, and locked up separately from the the ammo.

I have a four pistols, three shotguns, three rifles, and couple of wall hangers. All of them are stored in a locked gun cabinet with a glass front (if I’m in a hurry, I’ll break it!) along with the ammo, some of it in “ready” magazines.
Most of them are unloaded, but two, a pistol and a repeating shotgun, are my “home defense” weapons and stored loaded and ready for access (with or without breaking the glass). Can you do that?

Didn’t think so.”

I don’t recall saying I could, I merely corrected an assertion that shotguns were illegal in the UK.

If you can’t use your firearms when you need them, they might as well be illegal.
