Strange Anomalies in the Famous Situation Room Photo
American Thinker ^ | 5/9/2012 | Mara Zebest

Recently, the MSM were shocked by the news that a girlfriend in Obama's Dreams book was a composite. For many, such news comes as no surprise. The concept of a composite presidency certainly comes as no shock as someone who participated as a contributor and authored evidence presented at Sheriff Joe Arpaio's press conference on Obama's long-form birth certificate report. On the heels of these events -- and taking advantage of an anniversary of the bin Laden raid -- are recent campaign tactics to politicize the killing of Osama bin Laden. With the re-emergence of another round of gutsy call faux heroism regarding Obama's decision, it may also be a good time to revisit the famous "Situation Room" photo released by the White House. Is it Photoshopped? Like everything else Obama does to make a political point, is the photo a composite as well?

Beyond the obvious blurred photo in front of Hillary Clinton, are there other hints of manipulation? A Swedish paper makes the observation that Obama looks like a midget in the chair despite his six-foot-plus stature. When comparing the size of the surrounding people in the photo to Obama, the photo certainly gives the impression that Obama's head (or possibly the entire body) was placed into the photo and resized a tad too small. And as a side-note observation: why is everyone in the room dressed in work attire -- as if they went to work that day -- except for Obama?

Compare the size of surrounding heads in the "Situation Room" photo to the size of Obama's head. Even if you use a perspective argument -- in which objects appear smaller at a greater distance -- then why are the faces behind Obama still larger?

Even if the Photo is real, even if Obama did make the call, even if the story is real—ITS ONE GOOD CALL IN THREE YEARS! One lucky break does not a president make. Remember BP spill? The fires in Texas? The Obamacare, The other mess ups???

Obama deserves as much credit for killing Bin Laden as Nixon did for the Apollo Program. Neither started it, both were actually opposed for political reasons (because their respective political enemies started it), both assumed office after it had started and had political momentum, and neither could politically stop it - even if they legally could have. IOW, neither deserves credit - yet you didn't see Nixon trumpeting his role in the Moon landing, etc. like an opportunistic, egotistical child.

I definitely agree with GeorgeWashingtonsGhost.....
It looks like his head was added to a person that was actually sitting in the room. His neck, in the circled area, overlaps his collar.

Obviously, because he just came from the golf course.”””

They had to find him and drag him off the 10th tee.

Here's a side-by-side comparison of the jackets. They don't look the same to me but Tom Donilon has the same shirt on in both of these photos.

No it doesn’t. It just changes direction with the wall at the corner behind Obama. You can see a small section of it between Obama’s chair and the man to his left.

I don’t understand your point - it’s still interesting. We’re somewhat between a newspaper and a library... ‘old news’ can be just fine...

Perhaps he was staring off into space or chuckling to himself or whatever.

As mentioned earlier - why would the President of the United States be sitting in the back in a small chair?

I was replying to yoe, who said that he/she did not understand why this was just now coming to light- I just said that this subject had been discussed before, it is not just now coming to light. What don’t you understand about that?

The Bin Ladin photo has many issues.

There are plenty of ‘Situation Room’ photos on the web. The Bin Ladin Photo is simply not THAT room.

1. Table location and size. The situation room table is a large conference room table and all chairs around it are high backs with low backs along the wall. There is plenty of room around that table and it does NOT slide around. It has wiring and a console on it. And it heavy. The Bin Ladin photo looks like they are crunched into a corner in a small room. Obama is in a low back chair. Something is not right. Its the same room. Or its a photoshop job.

2. Presidential Seal. In the ‘real’ situation room it is in the middle of the large featureless wall. In the Bin Ladin photo it is next to a door jam. No - not the same at all.

3. No computers in the Situation Room in any other photos. Seems reasonable. Computers are problems security wise - virus, recording secretly. Nope. What is needed is brought up on all the large screens around the room in a controlled manner. Unlike a business meeting people are obviously not allowed to drag their favorite laptop into the Situation Room.

4. Harsh lighting washing out wall. Not sure why that is happening in the Bin Ladin photo. The light is not that bad in the ‘real room’.

Something is amiss with the photo. It is simply not the real Situation Room.
