Step 1. Refuse to acknowledge the event is public.
Step 2. Refuse to purchase their stupid permit.
Step 3. The second someone claiming jurisdiction sets foot on your property demand to see a duly constituted Warrant of some kind.
If no Warrant is produced proceed to Step 4.
Step 4. Inform said gent of the State they are trespassing on private property and that force, including deadly force, will be used on them if they do not depart immediately.
Step 5. Escalate as necessary.

I mean they would have had better luck calling the event a “potlatch” and saying that they are taking the people’s money and redistributing it as food. When the Health department starts whining, start calling them racist.
