O’Reilly Chides Jon Lovitz For His ‘Disrespectful’ Remarks About Obama

Jon Lovitz chatted with Bill O’Reilly on Wednesday about Lovitz’s profane comments about President Obama.

O’Reilly pegged the remarks as “disrespectful” — acknowledging Lovitz’s perspective, but asserting that anyone in the office of the presidency deserves to be respected.

“You were kind of disrespectful,” O’Reilly said. “Do you feel bad about that?”

“No, because you have to put it in context,” Lovitz replied, specifying that he’s a comedian, and the nature of that is to be “just open and honest.” What you can’t say on television, you can say in a private club, he said.

O’Reilly agreed, but noted that in today’s day and age, everything’s instantly shared online. Even though he’s “sympathetic,” he said, “I want the presidency, the office to be respected. I don’t want those people using those kinds of terms to describe any president. Do you see my point?”

“You were kind of disrespectful,”...respect has to be earned - this man of no integrity or decency, who refers to citizens of this country as "bitter people clinging to their Bibles and guns", has earned none......

It took three days? Damn.

Unless you’re taking a guess. I didn’t know so that’s why I asked you. Nowadays it would be within minutes.

I remember it on the news when I was a kid. From what I remember reading about it later it took a few days for the world to know because Congressman Ryan’s delegation was murdered as well as several journalists with him.

I’m leaning toward the story that it was a CIA op for indoctrinating Americans with Marxist ideology. Jim Jones didn’t want that to be found out so that’s why he had everyone killed with cyanide-laced Flavor-Aid.

Right there with you! O’Bloviator was done right then with the missus and me.

The Swift Boat vets fought and bled for this country. Who the heck is BOR to say war veterans have no right to be heard?

BOR has also trashed the Tea Party.

He's a liberal who pretends to be independent so he can appease the left on what is widely considered to be a conservative leaning news network. I have no use for him.

O'Reilly is making a silly argument in a vain attempt to win "fairness" points from liberals who've never worried about things like fairness.

And declare their hate of him, anyway.

Why don’t they replace Ted Baxter with Laura Ingrahm she is 3 times smarter and a true conservative.

Congressman Ryan didn’t even need to go down there. It says a lot about him that he did.

How many other politicians would have? Probably none.

Only 1/3 of the people were ID’d.

Do you remember when Hi-C and Hawaiian Punch came in aluminum cans? I remember when soda (The 20 oz.) came in glass bottles.

I was born in 1976 so I remember a few things from the early 80’s. It seems like it’s been a long time ago.

Most people are not aware that Jim Jones was a flaming commie. Here is a good article about the real Jim Jones:

.....But there can be no denying that Jones vas very well connected politically, with his friends ranging from Communist Party leader Angela Davis to Rosalynn Carter, who met Jones during the 1976 presidential campaign. A benefit for Jonestown featuring black comedian Dick Gregory, California state assemblyman Willie Brown, Mark Lane and Charles Garry was to have been held in San Francisco on December 2. The theme was "A Struggle Against Oppression." Needless to say, the dinner was cancelled. The politicians and the ideologues of the left quickly went to work to disassociate themselves from Jones. In the case of Stalin, there is no way to obscure the fact that the mass murderer was a communist. But most people had never heard of Rev. Jim Jones, and, with the cooperation of the media, it was possible for attention to be diverted away from his dedication to communism.....

Another worthless “entertainer.”

Yet somehow these entertainers are supposed to (and expect to) have a broader freedom of speech than us little people. Lovitz is in Obama’s corner, tantrum aside.

Thomas Jefferson from the musical 1776: “The king is a tyrant whether we say so or not. We might as well say so.”

. . . anyone in the office of the presidency deserves to be respected . . .

I respect the Secret Service agents who have to work for the slob elected by dead voters, fictional voters, parasites, ACORN, and SEIU. I respect the custodians who vacuum the carpet so it looks nice for the communist who occupies our White House. I respect Bibi Netanyahu when he visits the president's office, and especially when he stands up to the antisemitic druggie's bullying. I'll agree with respecting most of those who visit that office. But respecting a usurper who pretends to hold that office while hating our constitution and our country? No, thank you. That's asking too much.

Are you aware that Obama’s mother met Jim Jones back in the late 1950s? Small world, eh?

Let’s see...

1/3 x 900 =
900/3=
I’ll let you figure the rest out.
