That old Bowie is my pride and joy.
Was given to me by my grandfather who found it while hunting in a swamp as a young man.
Stepped on it, reached down and there it was, brass knuckle guard and everything.
Had it re-handled by a gunsmith and seldom comes out the gun safe.
It has to be better than 100 years old, back of the blade is better than 5/16" thick, a young sword.
