Parents should watch some of the crap their kids are watching.

It isn’t Tom & Jerry any more.

The Glee-tards are the worst. I think the Amish have the right idea.

When one sanctions less than the best behavior you will more of the less than best behavior.

Everybody is so freaking hypocritical, I just can’t stand it. The hollywood crowd will say you can’t judge gay people or gay marriage but in the same breath, they will judge the woman breastfeeding the 3 year old on the cover of Time. Or they judge the polygamist or the overweight person. What if I said I wanted to marry my brother? We’re both adult, over 50, unable to have children, so why shouldn’t I be able to marry him? Or marry my sister? You can’t discriminate against me, it’s my choice! That’s what this is all about isn’t it? Free choices?
End of rant.

At the start of this drama, Vice President Joe Biden openly declared (accidentally or not) he was entirely comfortable with men marrying men and women marrying women and credited Hollywood. "When things really began to change is when the social culture changes," Biden syntax-garbled on NBC's "Meet the Press."

Biden might as well say he hopes his daughters will grow up to be prostitutes. "When things really began to change for me is when I watched Pretty Woman and realized that hookers are just nice, happy people with jobs they enjoy like the rest of us". Does he not know the difference between reality and fantasy, or did he take the VP job to make sure America doesn't mess up Avatar's world? Does he think Obama's two memoirs are as real as the world productive Americans inhabit (except for his composite girlfriends)? I hope he retires in January - to a nice long career with Glee's world.

Tom and Jerry? Bugs Bunny? Roadrunner? The GUNS! The EXPLOSIONS! The VIOLENCE! May G-d Almighty forbid it!

Tom & Jerry couldn’t be made today. The left would scream that it was indoctrinating children to violence.

I got rid of my TV before the turn of the century. I have watched most of th shows listed above once to see what they were about. They are low quality in all aspects especially the scripting. Being gay is simply a cliche and the gays on these shows read scripts full of cliches. But worse than the happy gay shows are the shows with twisted heterosexuals designed to produce anxiety and sell laundry detergent.

Hollywood is a disease and TV is the vector. In the age of broadband there is absolutely no reason to have a TV (that includes pay for pain pro-sports).

How about just not watching TV? Read a book or go for a walk.

It always amazes me to see conservatives bitching about people suckling at the teat of ‘big government’, but they can’t tear themselves away from the teat of television and movies. I’m looking at YOU, Mr. Sean ‘I Love my HBO’ Hannity.

I think the homosexualization of television and the media really started to take off in the nineties, even though it began earlier. I stopped watching television in the mid to late nineties, and since probably 2000, don’t watch at all.

I really detest it. I enjoy renting and watching movies and such, but not television programming. My wife is constantly trying to get me to watch certain shows, but I simply cannot sit down for it.

It is pretty transparent to me that the normalization of homosexuality is one of their main goals.

I would guess that the vast majority of Romney primary voters are those informed only or mostly by TV. Romney is a made-for-TV candidate.

My wife and I have never had cable. I do watch streamed movies and I rent movies, but watching programming...no.

I took particular issue with the way men in general were portrayed in television beginning in the eighties. It was very negative...men in general were bumbling idiots who embarrassed everyone who knew them.

You see these shows where wives, parents and children-yes, children-have utter, unconcealed contempt for the men in their lives.

I think everything from the sitcoms and reality shows to news and PBS is largely agenda driven crap.

A few friends try to get me to watch various shows. I can always tell how far gone they are by which shows they want me to watch. Surprisingly the kids are the most savvy, want me to see some particular mythbusters or something like that. But of course they have been corrupted by the rest of it too.

"not watching shows"

works for me. I've haven't seen any of them....not Will and Grace or the rest of the garbage. The last network non-reality show I watched was CSI. I'll occasionally watch the New York version because I like Gary Sinise, but even watching that's a rarity. Lately, I've been catching up on reruns of the old Lone Ranger series on Tubtub. Hiyo Silver, away!!

There’s been rumors for years that Clooney is gay.
