Bully story a black eye for Mitt Romney
Boston Herald ^ | Friday, May 11, 2012 | Hillary Chabot and John Zaremba

Bully story a black eye for Mitt Romney

"Straight-laced and squeaky clean Mitt Romney
must show he’s not the teen bully critics now say he was,
if he hopes to limit the damage from a published report
on his prep school days that paints him
as a cruel and possibly homophobic prankster
who once pinned a vulnerable schoolmate down
and cut his bleached-blond locks

....
Republican consultant John Feehery called
the Washington Post report “troubling”
for Romney’s presidential bid....

“For independents, it’s a troubling story.
... They don’t like bullies, and anti-bullying has
become a issue on the national stage,”

“In the context of a close election,
little things like this can matter,”

Romney, in a hastily arranged radio interview yesterday,
..... said he did not remember the alleged Lauber incident.
“I participated in a lot of hijinks and pranks
during high school and some may have gone too far...."
Romney told Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade.

....
Some of Romney’s prep-school pals
said they were stunned by the Post report."

Reagan could NOT even beat Ford in 1976!

You mean the sitting President? Do you remember how close that primary was?

Obama is a Marxist bent on destroying America.

To anyone with an ounce of brains, there is no comparison.

You don’t have to wallow in every last Romney story in the MSM. I would hope you could tell the difference between actual historical and present issues with Romney’s liberalism and stupid, DNC-driven partisan attacks (and especially in the context of their failure to give Obama’s past any scrutiny), and avoid the latter like any sane conservative should.

Who is the most vulnerable of all? Obama, as an adult, was against saving babies who survived abortions. Romney MAY have cut the hair off another boy while a minor.

Great point.
This was brought up on talk radio several times yesterday.

IF Romney’s handlers have any brains, they will turn this around to ask to have a debate with Obama about what he did in high school, college and state senate. Romney needs to say I will be glad to discuss EVERYTHING I did during my teenage years and twenties. It will reinforce the fact that Obama is trying to hide EVERYTHING he did prior to becoming a US Senator. He should not run away from this at all. This opens the door to look at Obama’s past.

IN SPITE of JR's calls for a "TRUCE" (whatever that means?) and if this gets me banned, so be it (as it would not be the 1st time, as that happened many moons ago, when I dared broach the subject--when he was advancing Promoting/Amnesty for illegals along with Ted Kennedy--that "perhaps" it was time to look into impeachment proceedings against Boosh) I think you are a FLAMING IJIT, who allows his/her/"its" blatant hatred for Romney cloud your judgment and dimunitive intellect to the point of continually posting such trivial garbage hit pieces in order to formet division and discord among Freepers.

PERSONALLY, I could care less if JR, you and many other Freepers stay home on Nov 6th; vote for Devil or even Dear Leader (one in the same)....

.....But if we are still around in a couple of years and the FACIST, SURRENDER-TOOL, PRO-ISLAMIC-APPEASER, HATE-AMERICA/MILITARY, NEO-COMMIE is re-elected, I and others will remind y'all on how your so called "principles" help lead to the HARM (if not DESTRUCTION) of our Great Republic.

Why not join in with the rest of the Lame Stream Media, the Unions, the West Wing, DailyKos, DummyUnderground, Media Matters and every other kook, far Left group, organization in helping toward Barack Hussein Obama's re-election? Mmm, mmm, mmm?

Oh wait, you and a few others here have already done so.

Nuttin' like helping the enemy, right?

However, even though the Undocumented Imam has probably had his team murder anyone getting in the way of exposing his fake documents (including witnesses and Coroner, recently), the MSM will never cover it in our lifetime.

The MSM WILL COVER the bully meme re: Romney.

So how about you spend your energies on this story by attacking the MSM for their double-standard, instead of picking up a liberal hatchet job and using it yourself, while shrugging off the double standard as you did here.

It's one thing to raise legitimate conservative concerns about Romney.

But if you keep using liberal attacks as well, while discarding the opportunity to counterattack those hatchet jobs, you're no longer carrying conservative water.

Actually, if we had only high school to compare and nothing thereafter, Obama would win. The poor kid had no parents and his Commie Gramps sets him up with a pedophile. They were both at prestigious schools but Obama was the only black guy at his, no black relatives, neglected, sexually abused and confused. Seriously — poor kid.

While Romney seems to already have thought his poop didn’t stink and he was a frat boy style bully and ringleader.

One difference is this; most of us would change or at least forget our high school experience because we have become better more mature people since then. The Kenyan revels in his victimhood and hasn’t matured a bit since then. He has a coterie of sycophants who feed his needy ego and tell him how brilliant he is. He uses the first person singular more than most 5 year-olds. Most damning is he sees nothing wrong with this.

Sorry: for every Romney issue, far worse is already sitting in the People’s house and MUST be removed. The fact that this poorly written and poorly researched article about some “bullying” bs incident in freakin high school 50 years ago even comes up is ridiculous.

Much as I wish there were a more conservative candidate selected, there is NO viable alternative. Not now. last November and December? Yeah...thats when this crap should have happened. But it didn’t or it didn’t take.

Its not about compromising principles its not about anything else. Its about removing the marxist fascist and ALL of his dingleberrys from our government. Romney is the one who has to do it.

I will worry about the sins of Romney later...after the “bigger” disaster is removed.

[shrug]There is no other way: we cannot survive another 4 years of the sob we have now and his insane clown posse.

That’s going to fly real well, not.

Political gloating aside, however, isn’t it obvious that Obama’s gay politics is stemmed in hate and evil selfishness?

THis is about independenting men from caring and giving a choice to women of mates. This is about turning women into the hell hole that lesbianism is. This is a game of dictatorship, one for me, one for you, and evil little crumbs of power to little witches, even if for bigger witches.

At least people knew him when he was a kid, here in the states, unlike, unlike the halfrican in the white house that no one knows anything about.

Actually...if you go to The Obama Files...there is a LOT of info there on his early life...and especially college life. All this talk here that there is no one that remembers him...etc...is fiction. There are a LOT of people that remember him...and it's all documented.

In in the case of Obama...the truth is BETTER than fiction. Many of them talk about how self-absorbed he was...how arrogant. They talk about his dealings with Marxist professors in college. There are interviews with people who worked with him at BI that testify about how he lied in "dreams." There are pictures from his high school yearbook. There are interviews with college roommates and with college friends. It's all there.

No....there is PLENTY of info out there about him that proves him to be the radical we know he is. Saying no one knows anything about him hides the truth...and allows HIM to hide. Matter of fact...I would guess that the reason his past is hidden is NOT because he appeared out of no where...but because THEY HID IT to hide the truth of who he is.

What’s ironic even if we were to pretend for purposes of discussion, the story were 100% accurate (which the family disputes)

I would bet good money, that the misfit encountering peer pressure and having his freak hairdo cut like any normal person, was PRECISELY why his parents sent him to an exclusive prep school, to have happen.

The parents almost certainly wanted that. It’s why he ended up there. Back then, it was either than, or the Army.

I would go further, and bet they gave him that exact choice.

They very likely sent him there, because they did not know how to handle him, and wanted their son to be normal.

The GOP-E thought it made itself immune from Democrates by getting Romney in, or they are in complete tack with the progressist agenda for cheap rotten dollars of marketing.

Money was meant so we would be respected from having to reinvent the wheel when born. To honor that these things were given to us and not invented by us, as some atheist crazies seem to think we somehow survived out of the jungle and conquered by hybridization or something.

Thus money is nowadays debauched for “happy gay” products that liberals whore out for RINO CEOs, and this dance of hate is going to go on to its ridiculous levels of utter destruction in pride.

The point is Obama was protected and benefited from heterosexuality just like any woman was to “profit” from a cohort of heterosexual men ready to compete and build gold bridges for them. Now that Obama is in power, it is easy for him to tell the rest of AMerica, liberal or not, to play by the gay-begging rule of misery, without the perks that he benefited from, silver spoon in his mouth.

THIS IS THE WHOLE “SILVER SPOON IN MOUTH HYPOCRISY”, because Zero had one, and Romney or other in their heterosexuality PROTECTED THAT PRIVILEDGE OF HIS SO HE COULD RISE UP.

Now, like a selfish little muslim marxistoidated fool, he takes it from us.

AMERICA! OBAMA! THE JOKE IS ON YOU!!!!

It will reinforce the fact that Obama is trying to hide EVERYTHING he did prior to becoming a US Senator. He should not run away from this at all. This opens the door to look at Obama’s past.

A brilliant idea. Let's get the bright, shining light of truth on Obama's background once and for all.

For all we know it wasn’t even a “fag” but... he was being weird. Long bleached hair. You aren’t born with that.

This "story" is an example of how disconnected the leftwing media are from reality. Nobody cares about a highschool prank almost fifty years ago, and especially "bullying," a fabricated straw man of the homosexual lobby. It ranks right up there with the dog-on-the-car-roof "story." Normal people don't care about that one either. The only people who care about this are already obama zombies.
