He’s an entertainer and he sees a chance to get some press. That’s all.

It's been a number of years now since Dennis Miller shifted to the right. A number of his fellow SNL alums have remained friendly with him, and indeed have either availed themselves as guests on Dennis's conservative leaning radio show, or made some other public pronouncement that suggested they weren't quite on board the leftist train...among them, Dana Carvey, Martin Short, Norm McDonald, Adam Sandler, Victoria Jackson and IIRC, Lovitz.

Well, you could have added two more names I forgot: Both Colin Quinn, and Phil Hartman also seemed to have fallen into at least that quasi-conservative area :-)

Martin Short, Norm McDonald, Phil Hartman are not, of course, native born Americans.

And I still miss him....his best skits ever was Reagan as “Mastermind”...and Clinton, “Jim, let me tell you something—there’s gonna be a lot of things we don’t tell Mrs. Clinton about.”

James Garner, a man's man from Oklahoma, and one of my all time favorites since the late 50's when he did Maverick, is a died in the wool leftist Clinton lover.

Be careful who you look into, if you ever want to enjoy a movie or TV show again. Two words Andy Griffith.

Phil would just kill me with laughter with simply a grunt, or “Fire bad” with his Frankenstein Character (SNL Tarzan, Tonto, Frankenstein skit)
