Do you know of any personal scandal involving Romney, his wife or his children? They seem to have raised 5 good young men and have a very solid family life with their children and 18 grandchildren.

Romney spent three years as a missionary. He was number one in his class at BYU. He was in the top third of his class at Havard Law School and in the top 5% in the Harvard business school. He has achieved remarkable success in business.

Compare Romney to the current occupant of the WH who was probably born out of wedlock, spent the last two years of High School in a self-admitted daze from drinking too much beer and snorting coke. What little we know of his time at Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard, he doesn't appear to be any great intellect. He keeps his records sealed. We can't even see his grades. Yet, the WP has investigated Romney's alleged high school pranks. Look what the MSM did to Palin. We know far more about Romney than we do about Obama.

Obama's association with domestic terrorists like Ayers and Dohrn, ACORN, community organizers (shakedown artists), and 20 years in the hate filled church of Rev Wright who married him and baptized his children shold give anyone pause. And he was mentored by Frank Marshall Davis, a noted racist and communist.

Whom do you view as being more dangerous to this Republic, Obama or Romney? And why?

I need to know where and why exactly the Mayflower Compact and It’s declarers come into play/define what the Founding Fathers of our Constitution adopted. I would suspect that from the time of the Mayflower Compact to the Constitution there were various opinions as to the theological basis of the new Nation with a supreme God of their fathers being foremost. I do believe that the Founders did not intend to base the new Nation on a supreme Allah or supreme Buddha or any other supreme whatever as some people might like to make the case.

The National Council of Churches disagrees with you. They consider the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be part of the Christian religion.

The LDS Church considers itself to be a restoration of the church founded by Jesus Christ, which was later lost in the centuries after Christ in a Great Apostasy. Adherents, referred to as Latter-day Saints or, more informally, Mormons, view faith in Jesus Christ and the atonement as the central tenet of their religion. LDS theology includes the Christian doctrine of salvation only through Jesus Christ, though LDS doctrines regarding the nature of God and the potential of mankind differ significantly from mainstream Christianity.

Jews also consider Jesus to be a prophet. But neither Muslims or Jews claim to be Christians. Mormons do. So what's the big whoop?

So you pretend not to know the truth? You label this work ‘good’?

You don’t know anything about his life, and all the evil he has promoted and sold to the public, through speeches, fund raising, campaigns, donations, and passionate public pleas?

The man has lived an aggressive life of recruiting and selling for evil.

Romney keeps a calm personal life for himself and his own, but he works for the other side and has served as a leader and campaigner for the dark forces.

Mormons can believe whatever they want. It doesn’t affect me or you what they believe. So what if they claim to be Christians?

You are ignoring the point, your argument is that the evil man lives a calm, clean personal life, it matters not that he is a prince of evil, building a legacy of death and decadence and publicly working to degrade the lives of others, and our culture, and our nation.

Hey, you are the one who is taking on all Christian comers, your leaping into a discussion and taking on the thread while claiming that the subject doesn't matter to you, isn't convincing.

If Christians are interested in revealing false religion, then let them, "it doesn't affect [you] or what [you] believe", let them discuss away.

Thanks for posting this. There is a great deal that I don’t know about Mormons.

Actually, no. Nonetheless, Romney has been pouring money into the Republican satellite “conservative” organizations since before the last presidential election. Including Perkins’ organizations. That’s what he does. He’s a leveraged buyout guy. That’s how he made his fortune.

Romney is MORE dangerous than Obama.

Obama is finally transparent, yet the LIAR ROmney
has just (again) begun to lie and scheme and
pose and lie and lie and lie and lie.

Everyone who makes different political judgements than you do is on the take, huh?

Everyone who makes different spiritual judgements than you do, secretly wants OBAMA to win, huh?

However, Romney is running as a conservative now and if he gets elected President, and if the GOP controls both houses of Congress, then I think we will get more conservative policies and appointments than we would get from Obama.

Well of COURSE!

I think that NO one in this thread would DISagree with that!

But WHEN the USA is in yet ANOTHER tight spot (sorry for you folks who are upset with Clooney) and some SERIOUS soul searching needs to be done, and Mitt prays to GOD to help us; just WHO is going to be listening?

It's ills are NOT political; but SPIRITUAL.

I have strongly mixed feelings about Ron Paul. Some aspects of his character and platform I like very much, some I dislike very much.

Oh?

Which ones?

Ron Paul is not important because he cannot defeat Romney and win the nomination.

Oh?

Not important; eh?

True that MITT's handlers failed to completely demonize him early on; but many a horse, that has led the race, somehow stumbles in the stretch and horse that was lagging, wins.

I hope there are not too many folks who have placed their money on the wrong colored jockey outfit.

Who said this?

Statement of Faith

“I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, and I endeavor every day to follow Him in all I do and in every position I advocate.”

My faith is a deeply private issue to me, and I don’t speak on it in great detail during my speeches because I want to avoid any appearance of exploiting it for political gain. Let me be very clear here: I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, and I endeavor every day to follow Him in all I do and in every position I advocate.

It is God Who gave us life. As He is free, so are those He created in His image. Our rights to life and liberty are inalienable.

I’m running for President of the United States because I believe that our traditions and way of life are under attack from an out-of-control federal government and reckless politicians who show no regard for what our Founders entrusted to our protection.

America became the greatest nation in human history because a dedicated band of Patriots believed their God-given rights were worth fighting for, even if it meant challenging the world’s most powerful nation in what many deemed a “hopeless” cause.
