This just in: The dog handler whose K-9 partner was shot for biting another officer by mistake shot that same officer by “mistake” while cleaning is sidearm. Both the K-9 and the officer the dog assaulted are recovering from gunshot wounds.

Apparently the commandment is "and you shall not shoot a police dog, even if it bites yourself and your fellow officer; indeed , the police dog is to be regarded as another officer on the police force. Any of the dogs kept by the commoners you may shoot, if the dogs of the commoners exhibit any of the following behaviors:"

Admittedly I know nothing about how a K-9 police dog is trained.....I would think they would train them not to attack police officers?

His trainer is dressed in the same uniform, is he not ?

The dog keep attacking the officer even after they tazed him, then they had to shoot the dog...

Why the hell cops have such a cowardly reaction to dogs and cats? This is getting very disgusting...A lot of people are losing respect for the Police because they are acting like cowardly thugs in a lot of cases...
