Turns out nobody likes to feel clueless or eat crow...especially those who are clueless and most desperately need to eat crow...so conversion of the most pig headed is a difficult goal. I suppose there are both times where patience and gentle persuasion is called for, and times when just making the idiot feel like an idiot is called for. In my time I have helped convert a few...but if each of us does just that much, the collective effect may be powerful.

No, liberals do get it - they only care about creating more takers because those represent votes for them. They consider the givers (us conservatives) evil, so it’s “Shut up, fork it over and be quick about it”.
