Better. I thought Stenberg and Fischer were going to split the vote and let Bruning slip in.

That’s where Palin came in. Somebody said she recognized that Stenberg gets stuck at around 20% support so people needed to solidify around Fischer. I knew I couldn’t vote for Bruning once I heard about him sending a letter to Congress urging the confirmation of Eric Holder as AG. I was thinking I’d vote for Stenberg until Palin endorsed Fischer and the polls looked like it was Fischer who could beat Bruning. I think that’s probably what happened with a lot of people.

As crazy as it sounds, this was also a victory for Stenberg, because it was the ads on his behalf that got Bruning defeated - even if it wasn’t he who ended up as the candidate.

What I really hope is that this causes a discussion about Eric Holder. I hope the Congress-critters realize how much America despises that fox guarding the henhouse, whose stated purpose is to keep “his people” (Blacks, commies, terrorists, illegals, Obama thugs, etc) from ever being prosecuted for violating the law. Americans want the rule of law, not a banana republic. I hope the Congress-critters grow a pair when they realize how much it matters to us peons WHO VOTE!
