It is a mistake to equate his sometimes vaudevillian and often silly antic radio show with GBTV.
GBTV is very good. I think he still offers an introductory couple of weeks free.
It was a Keef slam. I couldn't think of anything more humiliating than the unemployable Olbermann being reduced to sidekick laughing boy on Beck's TV show.
I am a fan of Beck. And unlike some others here, his goofy morning drive time radio jock schtick is my favorite. Wacky radio mixed with conservative politics was a winner for me. When Pat Gray was reading excerpts from Arlen Specter's book, in Specter's voice, I was gasping for breath from laughing so hard. I quit listening when he descended into reverend end times bomb shelter. I couldn't handle more than a couple of minutes, and when that dominated, I stopped tuning in.
Beck is a money making machine with an understanding of media few people have. Oprah could learn a lot from him.
