Married in 1994, with four children.

Obviously, none of those children are adults yet. But, here we are, yakking about girlfriends and DUIs.

Prayers for the four children...

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy, was “depressed and despondent” shortly before she committed suicide, a source close to the former architect tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

The long time friend, who spoke to Mary on Monday, said they were sadly not surprised by reports that the 52-year-old had taken her own life, as she was facing mounting financial woes and the end of her marriage.

As RadarOnline.com was first to report, Mary was discovered dead at her Mount Kisco, New York home Wednesday. A source told RadarOnline.com that she had committed suicide, we have since confirmed that she hanged herself in a barn.

“I spoke to Mary on Monday and she sounded extremely down,” the source tells RadarOnline.com. “She was very depressed and despondent and worried about the future.

“Mary said she was facing financial ruin, with American Express coming after her hard for an outstanding debt, along with several other creditors. In addition, she was concerned that Robert was about to substantially reduce the amount of financial support he gave her and she was terrified she would have to file for bankruptcy and lose her home.”

“Mary has struggled with alcoholism throughout her life,” her friend tells RadarOnline.com. “She had been hitting the bottle again pretty heavily recently.

“When I heard the news that she may have taken her own life I was devastated, but not that surprised. It was in the back of my mind that she may do something like this, and that was compounded by the conversation I had with her Monday.

It looks like Joe Kennedy's annulment has been reversed by the Vatican. He got that unilaterily, thanks to the family influence (most annulments world-wide in recent decades have been in the US, where the standards have been laxer than elsewhere). His wife (Episcopalian) fought it and has finally been vindicated.

John F. Kerry claimed that his previous marriage was annulled but I don't think he ever produced any evidence, so he may have been lying about that (along with just about everything else).

Her maiden name was Mary Richardson. So in addition to having to deal with being part of the Kennedy clan, she had to try to live up to the impossible standard of the fictitious Mary Richardson of the Mary Tyler Moore show.

President Kennedy’s older brother died on a combat mission in WWII. Who was the other member of the family who died in combat?

The last thing I knew, as of when Kerry was running for President, the Church had turned down his request for an annulment. Not sure if anything’s changed since then.

From old Joe Kennedy, who was a spectacular crook and master swindler on Wall St., down thru the current batch of wastrels and louts, this family is a study in moral bankruptcy and depravity. They were foisted off on the public as some kind of “American royalty” when in reality, most of them were quite low in their character....simply having money which seemed to excuse their bad behavior. Yet, this clan thought they could dictate (politically) our lives and chart our future as a nation.
Like so many liberals.....they prove that liberalism is a mental disorder, and actually the opposite of liberty and the philosophy of so many of our Founding Fathers.
