Rush said in the last minute of his show for everyone to go check the new headline on Drudge, then signed off. I think he just didn’t see it in time.
It may also have been a way to tweak the public.
Every day he does extensive show prep (his so-called "stack of stuff"). If he had brought this up for discussion in today's program, he'd have to jettison his planned topics for the day AND have no other material than "did you see this?".
He may go into further discussion of this on tomorrow's program (which is open line Friday, by the way).

Ohhhh puleeeeez. I love Rush, but I don’t have to bend over for him.
I was reading the Drudge headline at the same time Rush was mentioning the downfall of the Euro and how it would affect Obama. Rush had to bypass the 48pt Drudge text headline to get to the 12pt tagline about the Euro. There is no way he could have missed it.
And he waited for a good 30 minutes before signing off and teasing us with the Drudge headline. Rush has always skittered around the birther issue.
