Here is the problem with that explanation. This "error" seems to have popped up a LOT over the years. And it is remarkably consistent.
It never says he was born in Indonesia. It never says he was born in Pakistan, it never says he was born in Egypt, Ethiopia or Tanzania. It is always Kenya.
I have lived in Kenya, Tanzania, Japan, Costa Rica and a bunch of other countries. Yet nowhere did anyone ever say I was born anywhere but Ohio USA.
I’m starting to think that Ayers connected him with this agent, wrote his bio, and finagled his advance. This is Ayers’ work. He submitted it in 1991 and no one had a “holy sh*t” moment until Obama entered the race in 2007, probably Ayers himself.

Exactly. I cannot think of any instance where a public figure, born in the 1960s, has ever been widely and repeatedly misidentified as to the place of his birth.
The willful ignorance of the press which studiously straight-arms this issue and gleefully mocks anyone who questions the Kenyan Clown's origins is shameful behavior.
