Mitt Romney's campaign released its first television commercial of the general election Friday, a spot that outlines a series of "day one" goals for a Romney presidency.
The ad, expected to run in Iowa, Ohio, North Carolina and Virginia, features a narrator speaking over stock footage of the American heartland and Romney on the campaign trail, outlining what "a Romney presidency would be like."
“Day one, President Romney immediately approves the Keystone pipeline, creating thousands of jobs that Obama blocked. President Romney introduces tax cuts and reforms that reward job creators, not punish them. President Romney issues order to begin replacing ObamaCare with common-sense healthcare reform," the voiceover continues.
The campaign is expected to spend $1.3 million on the commercial, according to NBC News, a relatively small purchase. The Obama campaign, by comparison, is in the midst of a $25 million television campaign.

The news here in Northern Illinois this morning is that Joe Ricketts, patriarch of the family that owns the Chicago Cubs and, from all accounts, a fine fellow who helped fund Deb Fischer's successful insurgent (i.e. genuinely REPUBLICAN and genuinely CONSERVATIVE) candidacy for US Senate in Nebraska, that Joe Ricketts was considering funding attack ads against Obozo tying Obozo to the "Rev. Mr," Jeremiah Wright and his abject anti-American radicalism; that Mitt the Massachusetts Mushball then threw Ricketts under the bus because the Massachusetts Trashbag would NEVER (heaven forfend!!!) go, gulp!, negative in a campaign, at least against his ideological soulmate Obozo.
Now, unless I missed something here and there are TWO Mitt Romneys running for POTUS this year (Good Romney and Bad Romney?), isn't this the same Mitt Romney who whistled passed the primary state graveyard of spineless RINOs posing as Republicans, by using Wall Street Megabucks to bury each and every decent conservative candidate for the GOP nomination in an unprecedented carpetbombing of the airwaves in each primary state, advertising consisting of NOTHING BUT lies, slanders and libels? The same Mitt Romney who never aired a positive commercial in the primaries outlining a single positive plan for the USA? The same Mitt Romney who stood throughout the primaries with his thumbs in his ears, waggling his fingers at his critics and chanting: "I can't HEAR you!!!!" That spoiled rich brat Mitt Romney? Now, just like McLame, Mittens lacks the spine, the guts, the fire in the belly to, well, actually CRITICIZE Obozo????? Here we go again. Another cowardly campaign by the gutless and clueless GOP Elite, proving that yet again there is no actual POTUS campaign in 2012. Second only to money, their god is genteel, inoffensive manners.
Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, Michelle Bachmann, Rick Santorum, each of them had actual conservative street credibility and track records and each would have been a candidate utterly superior to the Massachusetts Trashbag. The elitist moneyed treasonweasels who betray the GOP and the USA every four years to the extent that they can have, yet again, given us in Mitt Romney as POTUS candidate the political equivalent of flesh-eating bacteria. Oh and BTW, am I, as a Catholic, a zealot for resenting Romney's persecution of the Roman Catholic Church and all pro-life churches in Massachusetts under Romneycare every bit as much as I resent the persecution of the Roman Catholic Church and all pro-life churches by Obozo and Sebelius under Obozocare. Funding abortion and (at least for Catholics) funding birth control is what we regard as mortal sin and both of these disgraces would make bishops choose between life in jail or eternity in hell. That's not how ABC, NBC, SeeBS, NYT, CNN, etc., propagandize it but it is the truth nonetheless. Francis Cardinal George of Chicago has said in his archdiocesan newspaper that he (75 years old) expects to die in bed, his successor to die in prison and the next successor to die in the public square (i.e. be executed). That will be a war most Catholics and many other good folks will be able to drive to. What part of religious freedom is sooooo hard for political hacks in BOTH parties, hell bent on socialized medicine, to understand???

If you think that only "zealots" are going to REFUSE to vote for Romney, you are in for quite a surprise come election day. I will vote for neither of them and enthusiastically celebrate the defeat of whichever is defeated and immediately join with others to destroy the "winner."
This "zealot" will wildly celebrate the election of any anti-elitist GOP senator or house member or governor who is genuinely conservative and part of the resistance. I will dare hope that such corrupt money-obsessed treasonweasels as Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy and McConnell and Cornyn can be dumped by newly elected members of their respective caucuses for their corrupt and brainless and spineless and knee-jerk accommodationist track records.
Lugar is gone. Bruning is gone (but is cooperating with Fischer). Hopefully, Cruz defeats Dewhurst in Texas and Hatch is defeated in Utah. May Neumann defeat Tommy Thompson in Wisconsin so that Wisconsin can have TWO senators worthy of its hero Governor Scott Walker. Mandel over Sherrod Brown in Ohio. It is functionally impossible for the conservative insurgents NOT to make substantial gains, primary by primary by primary.
Someday, we will again have POTUS elections. Until then, we should resist and organize. A choice between Stalin and Hitler or between Caligula and Diocletian is no choice at all. At least some of us (a growing number) will no longer play make believe. I have voted GOP in each and every election from 1968 through 2008, holding my nose most of the time. If the GOP wants my vote or any vote I influence from now on, it will have to earn such votes by nominating actual conservative, actual Republicans. Otherwise, the GOP can go straight to hell. The passage of time will add to the ranks of the skeptics. Several predecessors of the GOP died of the same diseases: Federalists, Whigs, Know Nothings. Money is not the sole object of Americans, never was and never will be.
The earth will be scorched as it should be in response to this choice of candidates. No "honeymoon." No quarter.
