Nigerian illegal supervised airport security guards; got victim's fake ID before his murder

An airport security supervisor at a NJ-based international airport has been arrested and charged with using the identity for 20 years of a man who was brutally murdered. Nigerian native Abimbola Olumuyiwa Oyewole, 54, has been in the US illegally since 1989, AP reported. He was in charge of 30 guards at Newark Intl airport when nabbed.

Oyewole was hired before the TSA existed, the controversial federal agency said, noting that that the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey checked and cleared Oyewole's credentials when hiring and promoting him. NOTE the TSA recently released a report singling out Newark airport for several high-profile security breaches.

At Newark Liberty International Airport, Oyewole was known to his employer as Jerry Thomas, a man murdered in Queens, New York, about 20 years ago. Oyewole, an illegal immigrant from Nigeria, claims he bought the fake ID in late June or early July of 1992, which pre-dates the subject's killing. On July 20, Jerry Thomas — a 41-year-old career criminal with an arrest record dating to the 1960s — was shot four times in the face, leg and chest (shooter wanted to make dam sure he was dead) in his room at the Jamaica, Queens YMCA.

The murder case quickly turned cold, but "Jerry Thomas" lived on through Nigerian illegal Abimbola “Bimbo” Olumuyia Oyewole.

Oyewole used the dead man’s name, birth certificate and Social Security number to get a New Jersey driver’s license.....and probably voted as well. The Port Authority unaccountably promoted the imposter Oyewole---as he worked his way up to supervising 30 Newark Airport guards---and gave him unlimited access to secure areas. Oyewole passed several background checks, most recently FJC Security, a major Port Authority contractor.

Reports now say illegal Oyewole had other identities which he apparently purchased from document brokers for several thousand dollars each.

Subsequent TV news segments reported: (1) Oyewole's stolen ID is being investigated in connection with the unsolved murder; (2) Oyewole is being investigated for "other PA crimes," (3) Oyewole crimes included having several other identities; (4) Oyewole successfully passed several Port Authority bgrnd checks as he worked his way up to supervising 30 security agents; (5) The PA gave Oyewole acccess to high level airport security areas.

Oyewole was ordered held in lieu of $250,000 bail on a charge of identity theft at his arraignment in New Jersey Superior Court in Newark.“We simply do not know who this gentleman is. Therefore, he is a flight risk,” New Jersey Deputy Attorney General told the court.

IS THERE A CONNECTION? Oyewole's period of employment encompassed the cataclysmic events of 911 which raises questions about who had knowledge of the events beforehand. The 911 bombers easily passed airport security and 911 bomber planes apparently got needed clearance from Newark Airport. We need to know why the PA upper echelon kept promoting Oyewole, why he passed crucial PA security checks, and why the PA gave the imposter access to security areas?

July 21, 2006----NJ BERGEN RECORD---Pelcastre brothers, Angel and Jorge, Dallas, Texas, were a walking threat to US national security, expert document forgers who, for a few thousand dollars, could give anyone a new identity, NJ L/E authorities said.

The Texas brothers were a "one-stop shop" for a myriad of fake US documents, including birth certificates, Social Security cards, driver's licenses----for any state in the US------ passports and resident alien cards, said state police.

The Texas brothers turned a NJ hotel room into a business office and were readying a massive cache of fake Social Security cards for delivery to a local NJ identity broker. Officers happened upon two cars bearing Texas plates in a NJ hotel parking lot.

The Texas brothers were followed to a NJ office supply store nearby where they purchased computer supplies. Officers then followed the Texans to a NJ storage facility in Secaucus, NJ, where the Texans loaded several boxes into a car. One of them stood lookout.

After a search, police recovered laminating sheets with built-in security features, pages of blank documents waiting for fake names and information, finished documents, computers and software to create the fake IDs.

The haul was worth about $500,000 on the street when sold to "impoverished illegals." Police also recovered $6,000 in cash, which was the first payment from a NJ fake document broker for a shipment of 500 phony Social Security cards.

Relax, put your feet up, and butter the popcorn----now watch the PA Porker Shuffle begin. Oyewole gave the PA ripoff artists a new reason to justify its billion dollar scams----the ol' self-serving "victimization" routine.

The PA's main FJC security contractor was one of several airport security firms Oyewole worked for as "Jerry Thomas." He passed background checks at all of them, PA officials said. FJC Security, the PA's main airport security contractor since 2003, said it conducted a background check on the guard, as had New Jersey state police and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

LAUGH BREAK "In all cases, he passed the background checks," FJC spokesman Michael McKeon said. "During his time with FJC, he had nothing in his record or his performance to indicate a cause for concern or a reason to question the state police and federal government's background checks."

HOW STUPID ARE THEY? Port Authority officials said its investigation found NO indication Oyewole used the fake identity for any reason other than to live in the United States. Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Inspector General Robert Van Etten said: "In this case, the defendant utilized an elaborate and complex scheme of ID theft to defraud his employer, the State of New Jersey, the federal government and the Port Authority."

OH, IS THAT ALL? Does this sucker know E-Verify would have easily identified Oyewole as an impostor. So would have a match with the Social Security Death Master. Fact is, them Pork Authority types were too busy committing govt fraud. Looting the govt authority took time---no time to checkout imposters (/snix).

The same "brainy" ***stards who endangered millions of citizens by stupidly failing to perceive an imposter in their midst.

(2) Ernesto Butcher, Chief Operating Officer--2011 Base Salary $251, 758 (that we know of---probably much more)
Leaving with $306,344 $23, 336 longevity pay, $24, 208 banked vacation pay

NOTE Figures do not include bonuses, annuities, severance pay, lifetime free healthcare, several state pensions, a no-show PA job with six-figure salary and free cars/fillups and Cadillac benefits upon "retirement."
