Father of 30 kids by 11 women can't pay child support

Published May 18, 2012

| FoxNews.com

A Tennessee man's problems paying child support aren't so surprising: He has 30 children with 11 different women.

Desmond Hatchett, 33, of Knoxville, is pleading with the state to help him pay for child support, citing the fact that he earns minimum wage. Hatchett made national news in 2009, when his tally stood at 21 children.

“I had four kids in the same year," he said. "Twice.”

The mothers of his children are supposed to get anywhere from $25 a month to $309 a month for help raising the children. The state takes half of Hatchett's paycheck to divide among the mothers of his children, but now Hatchett has petitioned the state to help him meet his obligations.

•Option 2: Forced sterilization. A bizarre scenario, but this guy is clearly not a responsible individual.

Actually, I was thinking along the lines of forced amputation...

These people use their own children for base purposes. The “ man” (if that’s the right term) uses children to keep score and count his conquests. The women use the children as funding tools to collect welfare.

Sadly, it is foolish to expect these children will grow up learning responsibility and respect for others. They have been shown neither.

Would have been a lot cheaper if he had just bought about $200 worth of rubbers.

A vasectomy is a better answer. Besides being darn close to 100 percent effective, it concludes the matter permanently.

Worked for me and worth every dime...when I had it, insurance didn't cover it.

That must've hurt. Twice.

Can't spell the word J-O-B!!

But hey Obama money comes in on the first of every month. Let whitey pay for it besides they owe us for slavery or something. This is the end of the line of where liberalism leads to. Dependancy on the state for EVERYTHING. They went from slavery to dependency in less than 40 yrs. Socal entropy accelarates exponentially and they will drag the rest of us with them. Something has to give. And i think whitey feels that he has given enough. Do you agree?

This is an example of our long downward slide since the 60s.

His culture is determined to invade America by sheer numbers of sheer ignorance. All on our dime. I’m sure the ones the
mothers pinched off will grow up to all be contributing members of society. /s

Hatchet’s story first came to light in 2009. At the time, he had 21 children. He was in court to answer charges that many of the mothers were not receiving any child support, reported Yahoo. He handed the mothers over a $400 check and promised he would not father any more children. The mothers were forced to split the meager pay check. Some of his “baby mammas” only receive $1.49 when they should be receiving $25 to $309 a month.

-——He has 30 children with 11 different women——

There seems to be a disconnect here....

Granted the guy deserves our scorn for being so irresponsible for procreating without the means to support his offspring

What about the 11women who bore 30 children ?

Certainly many of them have several children by him....

I doubt any of them were going to Georgetown University and could not afford birth control.....I know all of them at least can afford to put a dime between their knees....

If these mothers had to depend on the men who fathered their children - depend on them for support and safety, - rather than depending on foolish taxpayers, none of them would have had children with this guy...

Democrats have rigged the systems so losers win ...

Forget the guy, I wanna know who the mental midgets are who said, “yeah, I gotta procreate with that guy who has no chance of ever being a father to my kids or a provider”. They should be in jail or worse. Talk about negligence.
