Somedays I get the feeling he is the AC and on others I feel otherwise. My feelings have no bearing on the ultimate fact of the matter.
You could say that of just about any thing, person, or subject in the world. Our inclination/feeling/intuition determines our belief, and therefore our actions, regardless to the accuracy.
