I guess we do differ; the only reason Booker would defend private equity at this point is because the state teat ran dry. Newark still will not raise its property taxes to pay for its own services the way the rest of NJ is expected to, so when the state ran out of aid (in other words, our money) all of those cops were laid off.
I would never defend Florio; he was a POS. I just remembered the welfare thing because it was long overdue.
