I think she should have been buried where her family wished.

I pray that her family takes this to the courts over and over and over again...all the while with a NY Post reporter in tow...to get a judge to order that she be reburied where *THEY* want her buried.

Her family would lose in court every single time. The day she married this POS her famly basically lost the role of next of kin, and with it the right to make life/death decisions on her behalf. Remember Terry Schiavo? Since the divorce was never finalized, it is the legal spouse and s/he alone who makes those decisions.

Let this be a lesson to everyone, especially those going thru a divorce: make a will and be very specific about who decides about your end of life decisions and disposition of your remains after your death.

It MAY be that after Robert Jr. passes, one of his/Mary’s children could seek to have his/her mother’s body exhumed and reburied in her own family’s plot.
