this won't go well - i’m sure i am in the minority on this

but i’m all for regulating these people that want livestock in their neighborhood back yards - regulation at the local level

i’d be super pissed if grandma is counting on the equity in her house and that drops $50,000 because someone wants chickens next door

i would never buy a house with chickens next door

i’m also for local regulation on the number of cats grandma can have

I agree on regulation at the local level. Local regulation is always better than state or national but it is not perfect.

Unfortunately the local govt blindly accepts the national regulation because they don't understand it and don't have the time and resources to look at it.
