Man pleads guilty to masturbating in Chuck E. Cheese's

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A Columbus man charged with child molestation is going to prison after exposing himself inside a children's restaurant.

Kenneth McGhee, 22, pled guilty to child molestation and delivering false information to police following an incident at Chuck E. Cheese's on Macon Road last year.

According to police reports, McGhee was pleasuring himself while Chuck E. Cheese's was packed with children and families. A mother told police she noticed McGhee had his hands between his legs and was masturbating with his penis fully exposed.

He was arrested without incident later that day.

McGhee was sentenced to five years in prison and five years probation. He will be required to register as a sex offender and is banned from all Chuck E. Cheese's establishments.

Thursday nights were always "Go out to eat night" in my home. When my kids were little, I always dreaded Thursday nights because when I got off work, they would bounce off the walls hollering always to go to Chuck E Cheese. Whenever we tried taking them somewhere else, you'd get the pouts and the attitude.

So more often then not, my wife and I would be camped at some slimy booth, waiting for our cardboard pizza, while the kids ran wild with pocketfuls of tokens. The noise level was somewhat equivalent to the cargo compartment of a jumbo jet at takeoff. At the end of the miserable night, we'd have to stand in line so the kids could choose their cheap prizes, which more often than not, were broken by the time we got back home.

So it was one of my best moments of being a parent when the kids finally started asking to go to Bugaboo Creek or Olive Garden instead. Thursday nights out started costing me more money but it was well worth it.

Before I got to one of my commands they caught a cook in the officers mess “enjoying” the turkey. Agreed, but this guy didn't touch anyone but himself. Indecent exposure, sure but was this really a molestation?
