Works fine in Texas - 140 days every other year from January-end of May or early June. Time enough for them to figure out ways to spend all our money. Most officials that I know of also have their own business or work for someone so it gives them an opportunity to find out the effect their actions or inactions have on the real world.
Would love to see reduced sessions in DC.
