I can not tell you about every mormon in the US, I can tell you about my mormon family. These people are all temple mormons, men serving as bishops, pretty woven into the everyday workings of lds.
All of them beleive that Romney is the fulfillment of lds prophesy, that he will restore the constitution and lead the US to eventual mormon control, as Joseph Smith had spoken about.
Based on Romney’s orchestrated life and revisionist history of some of his life stories, it appears he has been groomed his whole life for this event.

May 17, 2004 Same-sex marriages begin across Massachusetts. Romney issues brief statement: “All along, I have said an issue as fundamental to society as the definition of marriage should be decided by the people. Coming from a family Scots, I know they always talk about a true Scotsman being elected president and "doin' us proud". If that were to happen, Americans would not be forced to eat haggis and golf would not be declared the only sport.
My uncle worked for Howard Hughes and was one of two people who weren't Mormons. Hughes hired Mormons for his inner circle because he thought they were most honest, loyal and ethical people he knew. They never betrayed his trust. My uncle thinks we would be fortunate to have a Mormon as president.

George Bush over-turned every Clinton pro-abortion exec. order he could find and vetoed the embryonic stem cell legislation, but abortion is legal because of the Supreme Court.

Then why are you still here?
a. Romney imposed gay marriage on the state before the legislature passed anything or Patrick signed it. While he was governor, he said he would fire any clerk who refused to perform gay marriages, although no bill had actually been passed.
b. Harry Reid is a Mormon, and continues to get the Mormon vote. There are plenty of Mormons in Nevada.
As for Zero, I've never voted Democrat in ANY race in ANY year...And I don't plan on breaking that tradition...
I will, however, upon a Romney nomination, turn Independent...
